Can I purchase tickets on the door?

Yes, you can purchase tickets either online or on the door. If you pay full price, then you will automatically receive an UnChained Annual Pass which will grant you 12 months' unlimited daytime visits.

How does the UnChained Pass work?

The BCLM UnChained Annual Pass is the ticket you'll receive when you pay full price  for a daytime ticket either online or on the door. It grants you 12 months' unlimited daytime visits.

BCLM UnChained Annual Passes are not valid for evening events or courses and cannot be purchased or used in conjunction with any other offer - for example, if you are paying with Tesco Clubcard vouchers.

Pleas see full admission and ticketing  terms and conditions for more information.

Do you offer discounts for groups?

Yes, we offer discounts for groups of 15 or more, plus  you'll also be able to take advantage of various group discounts too, which are detailed below.

How does Gift Aid work?

Whether you purchase your ticket online, or on the door, we will give you the option of gift aiding your ticket. This is at no additional cost to you. It just means that we will be able to claim back some tax from the government. This is the equivalent to around £4 for an adult ticket. We'll then put that money towards conserving our collection and developing our museum.

Gift Aid is a great way to support UK charities; if you would like to find out more about the scheme, please   click here.

What does the admission price include?

Your admission ticket includes entry to all exhibits within the Museum site, including our underground mine trip, Victorian school lesson and rides on our vintage transport, as well as unlimited daytime visits to the Museum for 12 months when you pay  full price.

Fairground rides are an additional cost as are boat trips with Dudley Canal Trust into the limestone caverns (accessible from the Museum).

Please note that car parking is not included and is charged at £3.50.

Opening times.

Following the latest advice from Government, we have made the very difficult decision to temporarily close Black Country Living Museum.  The Museum will be closed to the public, including schools, until we are advised by the Government that it is safe to re-open.
