You may not realise it but we’re actually a charity. For nearly forty years, our visitors – over 300,000 a year – have been able to experience and learn about the Black Country story and the huge impact this area had on the rest of the world.
Our Museum is home to the world's single largest collection of Black Country items - over 80,000 items! This requires a lot of care and attention to ensure that these stories live on for future generations. We are proud to be an independent Museum, however we still rely on the support of individuals, trusts and foundations and corporate support to help us to bring history to life. Your visit of course helps us, but there are lots of other ways you can support our work too. Find out how below:
