Sparks will fly at Black Country Living Museum when Bonfire night (without the bang) gets underway on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 November, 2011.  This year the Dudley destination boasts two dates for its traditional event and visitors can turn up the heat as they enjoy the region's most talked about celebration.

The family orientated evening celebrates Bonfire Night with traditional entertainment and the added safety of no fireworks.  A fanfare of barrel organs, showman's organs and a brass band play a medley of popular sing-a-long tunes. A roaring bonfire, hot roast chestnuts, firejuggling, Punch and Judy and a drama performance from acclaimed theatre company Fizzog create an unbeatable Bonfire Night atmosphere.

Fiona Carding, Media Relations Executive said: “The Museum’s  Bonfire Night event will bring back memories for the older generation and is ideal for families with young children and those who are looking for a more traditional event.”

Tickets for Bonfire Night cost £13.60 for adults, £11.00 for seniors and £7.10 for young people. Availability is limited and tickets must be pre-booked on 0121 520 8054 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              0121 520 8054      end_of_the_skype_highlighting or via the Museum’s website at  Additional charges apply for fairground rides and car-parking.
