Kingswinford Teen to play at Black Country Night

Black Country Night

05 September 2014

18 year old, Jess Silk is a local guitarist, singer and songwriter from Kingswinford, Dudley and we are pleased to announce that she has confirmed her appearance at our Black Country Night.

Jess has just released her first solo EP, Background Noise, and is gigging around the Black Country.

Jess has been writing songs since her early teens about her own life experiences and has also drawn inspiration from TV and books. Jess sings covers of current music and always tries to include original songs within her set.

Jess has recently been hitting local headlines after teaming up with local band, The Empty Can to produce their WW1 commemorative song ‘Long March Home’ which was released in August on YouTube to mark the 100 year anniversary of Britain declaring war on Germany.
