Heritage Skills Courses at the Black Country Living Museum

Heritage Skills

01 January 2012

/media/news/library/Heritage_Skills_Courses_at_the_Black_Country_Living_Museum.jpgThe Black Country Living Museum has organised a new programme of short courses and lunchtime talks for 2012. These have been developed with the aim of promoting and preserving the objects, traditions and skills of the region. They make use of our historic buildings and collections, our industrial landscape and the traditions and culture of the Black Country to offer a range of exciting, hands-on learning experiences for adult visitors.

All the courses are taught by experts and enthusiasts keen to share their knowledge and skills. It is the start of what we hope will become an annual adult learning programme that will grow and develop to promote the heritage of the region, and meet the needs of our local community.
