BCLM Launches ‘Truly Local’ Ale
22 April 2015
We have launched our very own ale, named after our 239-year old pub The Bottle & Glass Inn (4.3% ABV). All proceeds from the ale, which is brewed and bottled in the Black Country, will go back into preserving 300 years of Black Country history at the Museum.
The ale is brewed by Black Country brewery Sadler’s, whose drinks we have stocked previously - including last year’s Peaky Blinder, a 4.6% Black IPA, inspired by the BAFTA-nominated series filmed at BCLM.
Bottle & Glass Ale is described as a ‘truly English golden best bitter’. All hops used are grown in Worcester, less than 30 miles away. We’re very excited to be able to introduce this wonderful, truly local ale. Visitors will be able to enjoy it either here at the pub that inspired it, or at home when purchased from our gift shop for £3.95 (or 3 for £9.95).
