Take part in our holiday club exploring the past*

We've got a packed five weeks of activities is planned for the summer holidays! Learn about famous people from the Black Country, then try your hand at being costumed demonstrators on site learning about the history of some of our buildings then relaying that information back to our visitors.

The focus  will be on locally born Hollywood legend James Whale, director of   Frankenstein and also moving images looking at Zoetropes, Praxinoscopes, flick books, stereo viewers, optical illusions and magic eye pictures. 

Join us to undertake research, development and practical activities inspired by our collections.

  • Keen to meet new friends and take part in fun and hands-on activities? 

Then come and join our holiday club and dig deeper into your heritage. You will take part in a range of themed activities exploring the past, including undertaking research, taking part in traditional crafts, object handling, living history interpretation and collections display.

Our Young Archaeologists' and Curators' Club, meet every Wednesday during school holidays from 12.30-3.00 pm

Price: £2.50 per child
