The Great British Summer Tasting with Chase

19 July - 19 July 2019

Enjoy a taste of summer by sampling a range of exotic gins and vodka with Herefordshire-based Chase Distillery.

Start your evening by climbing aboard our traditional bus for a journey through the Museum, stopping at the Workers’ Institute. Relax with a Chase GB  & Tonic before sampling a selection of other delicious drinks including Pink Grapefruit & Pomelo, Seville Marmalade and Sloe & Mulberry flavoured gins. Also included in the evening is some ‘bostin’ fittle’ - a little bit of scrumptious Black Country food to accompany your tasting.

To complete your night, enjoy an evening stroll through the Museum's gas-lit village; pop into our famous fish & chip shop for your supper, or head down to the Bottle & Glass Inn for a local pint or one of our wide range of whiskies or gins. Whilst spirits are high, there is no better way to finish off a traditional night in the pub by enjoying a sing along with our pub pianist!

About Chase Distillery

A Herefordshire potato farmer of 20 years, Will Chase decided he’d had enough of the drudgery of selling a commodity to supermarkets and in 2002 hit upon turning his potatoes into Tyrrells Hand Cooked Potato Chips. Having successfully made his crisps a household name he then set about turning the crop into what has become award winning potato vodka and gin. The commercial success of Chase Distillery and its growing portfolio of products is a reflection of how well its field-to-glass formula has won favour with discerning drinkers – the Herefordshire-based farm and distillery grows its own potatoes, which it then ferments, distills and bottles.
