Black by day and red by night… see the sparks fly, the forges roar, and the steam unfurl as the industries of the Black Country blaze on into the evening.

For one night only our live demonstrations will blaze on into the evening!

See sparks fly, hear forges roar and watch steam unfurl as skilled craftsmen bring the region's industrial might to life.

The Museum will celebrate the region’s rich industrial heritage for an atmospheric evening of live entertainment, industrial demonstrations, good food and living history.

Step back in time and explore 26 acres of shops, houses and industrial areas. Wander through the cobbled streets, boat docks and industrial areas to see for yourself what it was like to live in one of Britain’s most heavily industrialised landscapes.

  • Witness the might of the steam hammer at the Anchor Forge, showing you how the Black Country produced some of the largest metalwork the world had known.
  • Explore life ‘on top of the mines’ at Racecourse Colliery and meet the pit bonk wenches, butties and Mine Manager
  • See the fire breathing entertainers

As the dark falls make sure to check out the Museum’s quirky watering hole, the Bottle & Glass Inn and outdoor bar which will be serving real ale and gin cocktails or grab a bite to eat from the Museum’s famous Hobbs’ fish and chip shop.

Event time: 7pm - 10:30pm
