Julie Tonkin, one of the UK's leading canal artists  will teach you the traditions of folk canal art. 

On this half day course you will learn the techniques to paint a traditional castles design. You will undertake practice artwork before painting your finished design on a piece of canal ware to take home.

Course Tutor: Julie Tonkin

Julie is a professional narrow boat decorator, painting narrow boats and traditional items of canal ware for boats. Julie has been teaching roses and castles painting for many years and has a keen interest in canal culture and customs.

Time: 10 am - 1pm
