Historic Boaters Gathering

28 September - 29 September 2019

‘Leg it’ to the Black Country and take part in one of the most atmospheric inland waterway events of the year!

Bringing together some of the region’s most extraordinary vessels the Museum will rekindle a way of life that has long since vanished.

Navigate your way through colourfully decorated working boats and discover life aboard a traditional narrowboat as it would have been in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The Black Country Living Museum would like to invite owners of historic canal boats to attend the 2019 Historic Boaters Gathering at the Museum when we will re-create traditional canal scenes around the Museum Village.

Register your interest below.
