Get Closer to our collections - Bring the family along to join in a beginners behind the scenes tour where you can meet the BCLM Curators and see some of the Museum’s hidden treasures and curiosities (family focused).
You will be guided around our Museum stores by our Collections Team and find out the stories that lie behind some of the 80,000 objects and how the Museum looks after its large social history and industrial collection.
There will also be the chance to handle objects in our workshop and time to chat afterwards with a complimentary hot drink and a piece of cake.
Tour time 10am - 11am

If you require a ticket for an essential carer you are able to book an additional ticket for them when booking.
Free for members - pre-book only
Event not suitable for children under the age of 8.
This event is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
