Celebrate Burns night with The Glenlivet

25 January - 25 January 2019

A meet the distiller evening celebrating "Burns night" - Traditional foods paired with whisky tastings.

The Burns Supper is an institution of Scottish life: a night to celebrate the life and works of the national Bard. Join us to celebrate this event in association with The Glenlivet whisky distillers.

For this exclusive evening event, climb aboard our traditional bus for a journey through the Museum, stopping at the Workers Institute where  a welcome drink  will be awaiting your arrival  before settling in for an evening of traditional food; each course accompanied by  The Glenlivet  distillers.

The Glenlivet remains the benchmark that all other Speyside single malts are measured against. It’s the definitive whisky that brings us together. And it must be said, we take great pride in setting that standard. To quote Captain Bill Smith Grant, “If we can’t make good whisky, then we shouldn’t make any whisky”. We’ll raise a glass to that.

 Complete your night and enjoy an evening stroll  through the Museum's gas-lit village and  whilst spirits are high, there is no better way to finish off a traditional night in the pub by enjoying a sing along  with our pub pianist, so    head down to the Bottle & Glass Inn for a local pint or one of our wide range of whiskies or gins.

Burns Supper Menu*:

Starter:   Traditional cock-a-leekie soup;

Main course:   Haggis, neeps & tatties

Sweet: Cranachan - raspberries folded into cream flavoured with honey, whisky and toasted oatmeal
