Collection theme: Historic Buildings

In addition to the original industrial features at the site, the Museum has skilfully researched, dismantled and reconstructed over 60 buildings and other structures from across the Black Country. The Museum also operates a branch museum where a listed locksmith’s workshop at Willenhall, a town which was once the lock making capital of the country, has been preserved in situ.
