The Black Country Motor Company Volunteers

The Motor Company volunteers meet on a weekly basis at the Museum to maintain and restore the Museum’s collection of vintage vehicles and to regularly operate the vehicles around the Museum village.

The Motor Company volunteers join in the Museum’s regular events programme including the Festival of Black Country Vehicles, the Monthly Marvellous Motors and Fathers’ Day.

Keith, Motor Group Volunteer tells us about his experiences as a volunteer

/media/support/library/keithvolunteer---copy.jpg"My role is to look after the vehicles ranging from 1903 to 1955 service and repair them with the rest of the team. There's alot to learn, it's extremely satisfying, the atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is really nice."
