Locksmith's House, Willenhall
We also offer volunteering opportunities at our sister Museum, The Locksmith’s House, located in Willenhall.
The Locksmith's House celebrates the efforts of the small family run lock making businesses which thrived over a century ago. Working from the back yards of their own houses, hundreds of small family businesses evolved.
What our volunteers might do here:
- Demonstrate to small school groups (KS2 and below)
- Interacting with our visitors
- Helping to deliver our special event days
- Tidying and light cleaning as and when required
- All in a historically accurate costume.
This is a small site, and opens on a pre-book basis, which could easily fit into your schedule.
Fancy being a costumed demonstrator, interacting with visitors, and overall experiencing life in The Locksmith’s House?
