Knit & Natter Group

Do You Enjoy A Good Yarn?  Bring your knitting for a cuppa and a cant

Knitting volunteers are asked to come along and  support our costume department, to knit away whilst nattering and making new friends.  It   is a great social opportunity that encourages you to get out your  balls of wool, knitting needles and/or crochet hooks and get stuck in.

All are welcome whether you are a novice of the needles or an experienced knitter.  The knitting that you do will help to provide great support to the costumes made for BCLM.

There are opportunities to get involved in the Museum’s events programme, to share skills and learn new ones, and create vintage items of clothing for our costume room. The group supports the Museum’s costume provision by using period appropriate patterns to create charming woollen pieces.

Whether you are a keen knitter or a novice of needles, come along to one of our meet-ups for a bit of fun and a lovely chat.

Did we mention that there are plenty of refreshments; tea, coffee, and maybe a biscuit or two?

Bring Your Knitting! The Knit & Natter group meet bi-weekly on Friday afternoons.

Any queries, please contact Dianne Rivers, Volunteer Coordinator on 0121 521 5610 or email
