Industry Team Volunteers

Do you have a passion for the Black Country?  Could you help to engage our visitors by sharing the stories of its history and lives lived there?

With interactive demonstrations to deliver, visitor enquiries to deal with and high standards of presentation to maintain, your skills and enthusiasm will help to make our visitor’s day out really special.

We’re looking for friendly folk to join our team.  We’re offering training, ongoing support and the opportunity to experience time in one of the premier Museum sites in the country.

"I  love my role because... i get to make and create  things. The skills I've gained here are Blacksmithing, leadership training skills,  engineering skills. I enjoy talking to the visitors the find it fascinating. I recommend volunteering  because it's good for yourself, it's good to have something to do and a role in your life. Black Country Museum gives me so much back."
