Collections & Archive Volunteers

The work of the Museum’s collections team is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers. The Museum relies on the constant support of volunteers to help improve the care of our permanent collections and to update our records.

Volunteering within the Collections team involves a range of tasks from cleaning and repacking objects, to labelling, cataloguing or even photographing our collections.

It gives me  confidence and I've met some lovely people who I consider friends now. I recommend volunteering as you are constantly learning and you feel you're giving something back"
