Boat Dock Volunteers

Do you have a passion for the Black Country?  Could you help to engage our visitors by sharing the stories of its history and lives lived there?

With interactive demonstrations to deliver, visitor enquiries to deal with and high standards of presentation to maintain, your skills and enthusiasm will help to make our visitor’s day out really special.

We’re looking for friendly folk to join our team.  We’re offering training, ongoing support and the opportunity to experience time in one of the premier Museum sites in the country.

Maggie, Boat Dock Volunteer tells us about her experiences as a volunteer

"I wanted something  that i  enjoy to fill my days... what i love is I am working alongside  people who are very knowledgeable and obviously enjoy what they are doing... and  everyday I am learning something new"
