Hobbs’ fish & chip shop

The 1930s fish & chip shop offers traditionally cooked finest cod, roe and chips; reputed to be the best in the midlands using beef dripping for frying.

Food & Drink at Canalside

The main restaurant serves traditional dishes with a modern twist. You will be seated in the restaurant and can enjoy the light plated snacks, smaller dishes, beautiful sandwiches, just a coffee or restaurant style meals. Prepared by our own chefs to order, using local ingredients where possible.

Grab & Go at Canalside

Open 10am – 4pm winter season. (10am – 4.30pm summer season)

Just next to the main Canalside restaurant, our grab and go offer has a range of sandwiches, snacks, hot & cold drinks and sweet things. There is only a very limited amount of seating available; so is ideal for tasty things to enjoy during your onward visit around the Museum.

Hobbs’ Courtyard - summer season only.

Situated between Hobbs fish & chip shop, and Morralls’ outfitters; the short alleyway leads you to our south facing covered courtyard. We will find you a table and take your order for open sandwiches, freshly prepared soup, pastries, tarts, desserts or sundaes. Teas, coffees and soft drinks are available alongside our local ciders, beers and wines.

Bottle and Glass Inn

• Fully licensed. • Fish & chips are not allowed.
In the main village the Bottle and Glass Inn serves Black Country real ales, ciders and soft drinks. Simple mature cheese & onion cobs are available at lunchtimes.
