New Chair for Black Country Living Museum

Dudley College Principal, Lowell Williams will be assuming the position of Chairman of the Black Country Living Museum Trust on Thursday 24 September, replacing current Chairman and longstanding member of the Board of Trustees, John Hughes.

Lowell became as a Trustee of the Museum in September 2013 and his appointment as Deputy Chair and Chair designate was unanimously agreed by the board at its meeting in July 2014. Lowell has been Principal at Dudley College since 2008 and in that time has led the creation of the multi-million pound Dudley Learning Quarter including state-of-the-art vocational, STEM and A level centres. Under his leadership, Dudley College has become rated in the top 10% of colleges in England.
