Kids Can Have Fun for a Fiver

Spend the Weekend in Wartime Britain

Evening event on Saturday 18 July 2015

Visitors can expect a nostalgic journey back to the sights and sounds of wartime Britain as the Black Country Living Museum hosts its largest ever ‘1940s Weekend’ on 18 & 19 July. For an entire weekend, the Museum will be transformed as vintage vehicles, 40s civilians, army personnel and the sound of air raid sirens fill the streets.

Run by charity ‘Kids in Museums’, the award is one of the largest in the Museum sector, and is designed for museums that ‘go the extra mile to welcome families and visitors of all ages’.
