Olympic Torch Shines the Light on Dudley Attractions

Thousands celebrated as the Olympic flame arrived at Black Country Living Museum and Dudley Canal Trust today, on Day 43 of its epic 70 day, 8,000 mile journey to the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympic Games. Flag-waving families lined the streets as the torch shone a light on two of the region’s favourite destinations.

Treat your Dad to a special day out with a visit to the Museum. Tickets are HALF PRICE for all Dads when accompanied by a paying child of any age. Travel back in time on a vintage tram or trolleybus and see the vintage cars and bikes on display. Have your camera at the ready and snap Dad climbing aboard a vintage vehicle.

Flag Competition

Competition Countdown

The clock is ticking and just seven days remain for budding artists to fly the flag for the region and enter a winning drawing into Black Country Living Museum’s Design an Official Black Country Flag Competition.  The winning flag will be added to the Flag Institute’s UK Flag Registry and will be flown at the Museum in time for the Olympics.
