26 October 2015

On  Thursday 8 October, we opened a brand new entrance as part of the Castle Hill Development project.

The Brook entrance has opened in time for the 2015/16 school year after being under construction for 8 months. The building will serve as a dedicated space for the circa 1,300 schools visiting the Museum each year and will enable the Museum to deliver workshops, talks and a range of activities to support curriculum-based learning. The building will also be used outside of school hours as a space for a variety of activities for adults and families. The project is supported by a £150,000 grant from the European Regional Development Fund, along with other generous supporters.
