The Host Organisations for the Arts Fundraising Fellowships in 2015/16 have been confirmed and BCLM is delighted to have been selected as one of only 3 museums in the group of host organisations for the Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy 2015/16 programme.

The Arts Fundraising Fellowships were created as a partnership between Cause4 and the DARE Fundraising Academy (a partnership between Opera North and the University of Leeds), together with leading arts and education organisations in three regions across England enabled through funding from the Arts Council England.

The Arts Fundraising Fellowship Programme, the first of its kind in the UK, aims to create the next generation of leading Development Directors skilled with the vision, entrepreneurial expertise and ingenuity to make a significant difference to the arts fundraising landscape.

This rare opportunity to learn on the job from experts in the field, supported by a diverse training and learning programme, is providing career development never before offered in the cultural sector. All Fellows are mentored, trained and gain hands-on experience in the many facets of fundraising. In addition, each Host is engaging their Fellow in challenging projects specific to their organisation.
