Observatory

Observatory

The observatory is of a Romsey type design built by star-gazing Baron Lord John Wrottesley of Sedgley and designed by Reverend E L Berthon, a Victorian clergyman who was a scientist, astronomer and inventor. The Museum observatory uses a Calver reflector telescope, made by premier telescope maker, George Calver in late Victorian times.
