Design & Technology-KS 3+

This day visit will cover Product Analysis, using the Museum collections to gain an understanding of the development of products through time and to be able to place them in their true historical context.

Students will also develop their knowledge and understanding of the design process through an interactive product analysis session.

Free-Wheeling Toys-KS 1

At the end of this workshop students will have learnt how simple mechanisms work. They will also have reinforced their understanding of forces.

The aim of the day is to build a wheeled racing car toy inspired by the Black Country Living Museum Collections.
