Parkes Sweet Tin

Parkes Sweet Tin

Octagonal gold tin, with flower and tree pattern on the out side. The lid pattern depicts a girl sitting under a tree in a countryside scene. The lid interior reads 'PARKES SWEETS ARE PURE, CLASSIC CONFECTIONERY WORKS, LANGLY NEAR BIRMINGHAM'. The tin is in very good condition apart from a few scratches along the top edge. The lid is very dented as the donors sister posted it to the donor while she was working abroad.
