Group Visits
Booking and planning a group visit at the Black Country Living Museum couldn't be easier....
To ensure your visit runs as smoothly as possible and to obtain discounts, all parties of 10 or more must book in advance.
An enjoyable day out for groups of all ages is assured. Our friendly staff and wide range of facilities make organising a visit to the Museum easy. There is so much to see and do! Meet the characters in the original shops and houses, ride on a tramcar or fairground swing boat, take a lesson in the old-fashioned school or explore the underground coal mine.
With a changing programme of demonstrations there is something to suit all tastes, from sweet-making and glass-cutting to metal-working. Visit the horses, enjoy a pint of real ale in the Bottle and Glass Inn, chat by the coal-fired ranges or just soak up the atmosphere. From the introduction in the modern exhibition halls to the reconstructed village, the Museum offers groups of all ages, abilities and interests a full day out with a difference.
All booked parties of 20 or more are offered the services of a costumed guide at no extra charge. The guide can simply introduce visitors to the Museum site, or can tailor a tour to suit the interests of the group.
Parties of 10-19 can also pre-book, at a reduced admission rate, but do not have the services of a guide.
All enquiries and bookings should be made to the Museum Booking Office on
0121 520 8054 and by completing the booking form.
