A Peak Behind the Scenes

BBC epic gangster drama Peaky Blinders filmed scenes for series 1, 2 & 3 at Black Country Living Museum.

The majority of the filming took place within the Museum’s Canal Arm, taking on a Post WWI transformation into regular character Charlie Strong’s Small Heath based Scrap Metal Yard.   On the set of Series 3 at BCLM , the BBC2's gangster drama creator, Steven Knight said: “We are trying to film as much here as we possibly can because it’s so good and they treat us so well.  It’s our world and I think of this as our Peaky home."
