Join our skilled metalworkers for a day of heat and hammers to start your apprenticeship in the art of brass casting and nail making, key trades in Black Country history.

Step into a vintage industry  costume and  you will be transported  back to the sights and sounds of the early 20th Century.

With the help of our specialist demonstrators, experience what it's like to stoke the fire and start your apprenticeship in the art of chain and nail making, key trades in Black Country history.

By the end of your day, you’ll know your  ‘dollies’ from your ‘rattle’, and your  ‘oliver’ from your ‘anvil’ and you'll have  a finished piece of metal work to take home and show off to your family and friends.

It’s thirsty work so you’ll look forward to the billycans coming around with the tea and a  well-earned famous fish and chip lunch.
