Introduction to Candle Making - Sold Out

In this one day course, participants will explore the three main candle making techniques:  dipping; container candles; and pillar candles. 

You will also experiment with colour, decoration and scent and will have the opportunity to make at least one candle in each technique ready to take home for Christmas.

About the course leader: Beth Wilkinson

Beth has lived in Netherton for over 10 years and has a great interest in the heritage of area. During her Fine Art degree she developed her practical creative skills and now works as an experienced media and craft tutor, she has a keen interest in exploring traditional techniques within candle making and photography.

This is a Heritage Skills Day Course , part of the IgnitEd Programme

Maximum Places: 10

Time: 10am to 4pm

Cost: £35 per person includes a certificate of completion, free parking, use of materials and tools necessary to the course, refreshment vouchers and lunch voucher.
