Experience the harvest season from Edwardian to 40s as we transform home-grown fruit and vegetables into thrifty dishes.

Discover traditional recipes and customs; Find out about wartime rationing and how they managed to feed the family.

Stock up on some tasty preserves for your larder and plant a seed to take home and watch grow.

Not forgetting our usuals - you can also enjoy a trip 'Into the Thick', experiencing life in a 1850s coal mine, attend a Victorian school lesson, watch 1930s films in our Limelight cinema, discover  the delights of playtime in the last century, banish boredom with traditional street games and try our famous traditionally cooked Fish & Chips.
