Come and see our traditional herb and vegetable gardens and discover gardening techniques of the past.
Joint living history weekends at Black Country Living Museum and Winterbourne House & Garden will focus on Victorian food growing techniques including traditional allotment gardening.
There will be a traditional garden market where visitors can take part in seed planting activities, meet the expert including
the Black Country Fuchsia Society and gardeners from our Museum and Winterbourne House , take part in a mystery garden object quiz, investigate different traditional gardening tools and watch demonstrations on beekeeping and stone carving. The day will also include a children’s garden trail, timed tours in some of the Museum’s herb and vegetable plots and “Jack and the Bean Stalk” magic lantern shows.
In Partnership with Winterbourne House & Garden.
