Visit our sister Museum, the Locksmith's House, as it turns to the 1940s.  

There is plenty for all the family to join in with in and around the Hodson family home.

  • Have a go at making a rag rug
  • Find out about rationing in our Edwardian kitchen
  • Get crafty and make your own parachute soldier
  • See our Locksmith’s live metal working displays 
  • Hear about the Hodson family's manufacturing during WW2

More about the Locksmith's House

Based in Willenhall,  this working class family home, previously owned by the Hodson Lockmaking family, is accompanied in the back yard by a two-storey workshop building.   

See the Lock Gallery which offers an insight into some extraordinary locks from across the ages with its vast range of products which Willenhall became famous for.
