The Museum's modern conference rooms can either be hired individually or used as part of a Day Delegate Package, which includes refreshments and access to the Museum's attractions.

The conference rooms at the Black Country Living Museum offer modern facilities for small conferences seminars, meetings or training sessions with a unique attractive venue. With easy access and convenient parking in the heart of the West Midlands, close to M5 and M6.

Description

There are four, flexible, conference rooms which can accommodate between 8 and 130 people, although a comfortable maximum is about 100. Refreshments can be provided in adjacent rooms, or the Cafe Bar, with the Canalside Cafe or the Museum's famous Fried Fish shop available to Day Delegates.

Sizes and Capacity

The conference suite can be broken down into four flexible rooms and has a maximum, theatre style, capacity of 130+.

The Friends Room is the largest individual room at 8 mtrs by 6 mtrs and can accommodate 12 people board room style or about 30 theatre style. The Dudley, Welsh and Taylor rooms are similar in size at 8 meters by 4/5 meters and can comfortably accommodate 6 to 12 people boardroom style or 20 to 30 theatre style.

By combining rooms we can offer a range of spaces, up to 8 meters by 20 meters or individual rooms can be used for ‘Break Out’ sessions or for refreshments. If necessary the adjacent Cafe Bar can used by delegates.

Additional Facilities

The conference rooms can be set up to your requirements with necessary tables and chairs. Conference equipment such as projectors, sound systems or computer links can be arranged at additional cost.

Day Delegate Rates

The Museum’s competitive Day Delegate packages offer a simple, flexible and efficient way of arranging a conference, seminar or, training session.

The fixed daily rate provides use of a conference room for between 10 and 80 people, with refreshments and full access to the facilities of the Open Air Museum.

Three packages all offer tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival and twice during the day together with alternative lunch menus. They also include access to the open air museum site and a comprehensive souvenir guide book.

The ‘Traditional’ package provides Fish and Chips for lunch, to be eaten from the paper as delegates walk around the Museum Village, with a sandwich alternative.

The ‘Silver’ package provides a buffet lunch (Menu B or Hot Fork Buffet) to be taken either adjacent to the conference room or in the Cafe Bar.

The ‘Gold’ package provides a full finger buffet (Menu A or similar) including dessert with fruit and soft drinks.

Capacity

The Museum has four conference rooms which can be linked together or separated as required. The smallest room can accommodate 20 people theatre style or 6 boardroom style.

Additional Facilities

The day delegate rate includes the use of overhead projector, access to telephones, Fax, Photocopier, computer network, flip charts, pads and pens.

Power Point projector, microphone systems, other audio and visual aids or special temporary decoration can be provided at an extra charge
