Collections at Black Country Living Museum

Car Collection

The Black Country was a popular centre of car manufacturing and produced vehicles by well-known marques such as Star, Sunbeam, Bean, Briton, Clyno, AJS, Guy, Westfield and Jenson.

Our Bradburn and Wedge Motor Garage contains a display of Black Country manufactured motor vehicles from 1900 to 1935, it also includes four post war vehicles and a Westfield 'Topaz' coupé from 1986.

Some of the cars and commercial vehicles at the Museum are extremely rare, including a unique Guy Morris fire engine of 1924.
